I am a mother of two boys and Nana of two grandchildren (who I love to photograph). Once I purchased my first professional DSLR, I found out it is more than just having a good camera. I was way out of my league in knowing how to work it. After many photography classes, I have learned how to use it, what good lighting is and how to pose my subject. I found what I want to create life-long memories through portrait photography.
I have been doing portrait and event photography since 1996. Life has taught me that some moments cannot be gotten back again. We have only a couple of snapshots of our 2nd child as he passed away at a very young age. What I wouldn't give to be able to go back and have a newborn session with him. My father-in-law passed away in August of 2013, thankfully we decided to do family pictures the weekend before he passed away at our family reunion. Our entire family is thankful that we took the few minutes to "Capture the Moment". I would love to help you capture the different milestones in your life. Don't leave your memories in the hands of an inexperienced photographer. Infants and children grow quickly, don't miss their milestones pictures, don't leave them in the schools hands. It is important to capture the family unit as the years go by. Make sure that you have memories to pass on to your children. I know that I enjoy looking at pictures from years gone by. Wow mom and dad you looked so young at your wedding. Is that aunt Julie that passed away before I was born? She was so pretty. Pictures help us remember and connect with the past.
Please let me assist you with capturing images from all the areas of your life. Capture the graduate's personality in a senior photo session. Engagement/Wedding photos can only be taken once have them done by a professional. Sports team/performing group packages are available. Use that family reunion or birthday party to catch up on family pictures. We also can assist you with getting pictures of all your guests with a photobooth. Watch grandma and grandpa act silly in funny hats and glasses.
